COMMUNITY CENTER

For this project, I designed a community center located in Montreal, Quebec, developing the concept through a series of hand-drawn sketches and detailed technical drawings. The design is guided by an industrial aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Montreal's rich architectural heritage of warehouses, factories, and urban structures. Exposed elements such as raw concrete, steel, and brick are woven into the spatial concept to create an atmosphere that feels authentic, bold, and rooted in the city's industrial identity. The drawings and sketches developed throughout the process served as the foundation for translating the concept into a functional and inclusive space — one that brings the community together while honoring the raw beauty of industrial design. 

Pour ce projet, j'ai conçu un centre communautaire situé à Montréal, Québec, en développant le concept à travers une série de croquis à la main et de dessins techniques détaillés. Le design s'articule autour d'une esthétique industrielle, puisant son inspiration dans le riche patrimoine architectural de Montréal — ses entrepôts, ses usines et ses structures urbaines emblématiques. Des éléments bruts tels que le béton apparent, l'acier et la brique sont intégrés dans le concept spatial pour créer une atmosphère authentique, affirmée et profondément ancrée dans l'identité industrielle de la ville. Les dessins et croquis développés tout au long du processus ont servi de fondation pour traduire le concept en un espace fonctionnel et inclusif — un lieu rassembleur qui célèbre la beauté brute du design industriel.
